BSBI Faculty of Creative Industry is located on the famous Otto von Bahrenpark areal, which is a 5 min tube ride away from the railway station, Altona. Hamburg has 4 railway stations - Hauptbahnhof, Dammtor, Altona & Harburg, along with a long-distance bus terminal (ZOB).


The BSBI Campus is situated in heart of the historical gas works area, Otto von Bahrenpark. This location has a long-standing historical background and serves as a perfect backdrop for a modern, exciting and inspiring creative campus.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

INTAKE /

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age: 18 (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling) for Year 1 direct entry; 17 for Foundation route.
  • Academic qualifications: School leaving certificate allowing higher education entry in Germany (e.g., Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura) or equivalent international qualification.
  • Portfolio submission required for Year 1 direct entry (online portfolio via BSBI Applicant Portal).

English Proficiency

  • Foundation
  • IELTS: 5.0 overall TOEFL IBT: 46 (Listening 12, Reading 13, Speaking 18, Writing 14) . Pearson Test of English (PTE): 46 (with min 41 in each component) . Duolingo English Test:95+.
  • Direct Entry, 3 years and PG
  • IELTS: 6.0 overall TOEFL IBT: 80 (Listening 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20, Writing 17). Pearson Test of English (PTE): 56 (with min 51 in each component). Duolingo English Test: 105+.
